Hosted by: Faith Lutheran Church 420 South Campus Avenue, Oxford 513.523.3808 The theme this year is Ages: 3 yrs to 5th grade REGISTER YOUR CHILDREN TO ATTEND VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL > The great baobab tree in the expansive African savannah is the setting for this year's VBS. This exciting get-together has something for everyone in the community to LOVE. Kids will be creating, running, jumping, and FOLLOWing with action-packed games; singing amazing new songs; and SHARE-ing the good news with everyone they meet. TRUST us, this is the VBS you don't want to miss! It's all about being part of a community, CARE-ing for others, learning about the Bible, and having fun, of course. Schedule: Friday 7/16/10 Registration at 5:00 pm Program from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday 7/17/10 Program from 9:45 AM to 1 PM ** Special event at 1:15 PM Peter Carols will be performing and teaching about the Oxford Drum and Goard Ensemble Sunday 7/18/10 Program from 9:30 to 11:30 AM with lunch to follow with families A $5.00 donation is recommended upon sign-in . **OGADE is a multi-generational group of people from three counties in SW Ohio that meets weekly in Oxford for recreational music making. We learn rhythms from Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, we jam, we perform, we do drum circles and offer educational presentations in schools, churches, and civic and private groups of all kinds, and we welcome everyone who wants to come and explore rhythm with us.
